Train of Thought TV: 24 "9:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M."
I am gonna try out the idea I have of Train of Thought TV. This is how I write. It is actually pretty terrible, but I guess I should use the practice. Here goes nothing.
Alright. The episode has started.
Ooo… el presidente is up and running, seems groggy. Doesn’t want to look week. Palmer is back in power. With a boost of adrenaline. He is no David Palmer. And a bad actor. Ugh.
Hey there Jack. Getting brief from Buchanan. Giving info to Buchanan.
Back to the pres. vice president is pissed. Hmm… time to talk about the 25th amendment. Keep VP in charge or go back to the brother of a better president??? We will see. Time for the debate. Yea Lennox, mediate you mo fo. Nice scar Mr. President (I can’t listen to him talk so I have to look at the cut with stitches). And now the bad-ass father from sin city. Tells us what you think you douche. Is that how you really feel??
Yes Tom, time is of the essence. And in the essence, we go to commercial.
OH SHIT BAD ASS TREANSFORMER COMMERCIAL!!!! I will link to that later. Ooo and then David Palmer on an all-state commercial… but I digress, back to the episode (thank god for the miracle of a DVR).
Oh one more think of note, there was a commercial featuring some shit from major league (didn’t watch it though, I was fast forwarding). You understand why I bring this up right??? Major League»>José Cerano»>played by Dennis Haysbert»>president in 24 season 1-3»>brother of the current president in the TV show I am blogging about now… ok I’ll stop.
We return to…CTU. God, I don’t like this flirty side story. He’s weird lookin’, nasty chin pubes. She’s hot… that’s right don’t worry bout it now, get back to work and stop those freakin’ nukes. Ooo… Ricky is serious and sneaky. Nadia is suspicious. Ooo hallmark moment, with edge. Ok not really a hallmark moment. What? Milo is the sneak now? Ooo jab to the baby maker. Hit her weakness… yea get that Milo. Hmmm… is he really betraying? I dunno.
Back to the bad actor, his annoying sister, and the national security advisor. Who left and came back and is muy liberal. Some banter… back to the cabinet. Time to vote… count them hands. It’s a tie. VP loses. Palmer is back in action. Ok maybe not. Loop hole? Good god. How long is this gonna be drawn out. This is annoying. Pres Palmer isn’t lookin’ good. Am I bad to hope he dies? 20 minutes in, back to commercial.
Fast forward……..
Hey there Milo. Sorry boy, Nadia is about to betray him. Wow, his arm that was shot seems fine. Oh the power of the world of 24. Ok she’s checking this shit out, did something, back to Ricky, turns out Ricky was right. Oooo he covered it up. Yea save the country and quote the Koran. Rick Rick rock it. You are still annoying.
Buchanan and wifey… share that information. Is this a hallmark moment? Ok, time eater is over.
Ok Jack and Gredenko. Setting up Fayed. Meet at the pier. Typical bad guy banter. Ooo that meeting will be interesting.
Back to the underground lair. Get these arguments squared out. Make them good. Come on Palmer and friends. Ok now to the VP no your chances are not good you idiot. Can you find a way around you actions? Ok more of his already stated political views. Oh, there may be away around (of course. we need not forget that conflict is drama). Ooo, perjury. That is a way around. I wonder if in next weeks or the weeks after episode that they will be caught???
Ok back to the bombs. Conflict within the terrorist group. Keep the weight on Fayed’s shoulders. He needs the Russian.
Underground again. Lennox and VP. Ohhhhh shit. Lennox was spying on the vice president. Oh that is bad ass. He taped the conversation. How is he going to blackmail the VP? Thank god that conflict is resolved… maybe. Freakin’ commercials.
Ok we are back. Still underground. He is still wincing. Great acting… umm… not. Alrighty, VP Daniels withdrew. No prolonged story arch that could be. Uh oh, pres needs doctor.
Jack on the dock. Isotope tracking on the Russian, like on heroes. He is free, meeting with Fayad. Find that phone. Yea text message. He is out of sight. Now goes Jack being Jack. Ok they got Gredenko, in some bunker. Ooo… I like this. And I was thinking it would not be that great of an episode. What the hell? Oh nice, they cut off his arm. I LOVE it. That was cool. That was real cool.
Side note. Commercial for an Owen Wilson horror/thriller movie. Will not go see that. He should stick to dry comedies with Wes Anderson. No horror, and def none of those romantic comedies.
Alright, last bit here we come…
Back to Jack. They lost Gredenko. Ok he found them. One down. Two down. Terrorists that is. Hmmmm… Gredenko just ratted out Fayad in a bar. That is funny. His ass was being kicked, but he isn’t dead. Bad ass again. But they lost Gredenko.
Now Palmer is asking for more adrenalin, which apparently is not good for his health. Oh what a pickle we are in.
Jack got Fayed, but no bombs or Gredenko. Gredenko is under the pier now, really struggling (much better actor than the president). And passes out in part of the water. That is not good.
Karen is meeting with Lennox. Asking for a truce. And they shake on it. Lennox doesn’t tell her about the real reason why VP withdrew.
Palmer is going with the strike? Because of a playground dispute? What a baby. Someone called him weak, so he launched a nuke. Guh.
Bad actor. Bad desision.
Well that is the episode. Until next time, this is ToTTV.
